WATER WELL, "Old Pirate Water Company"

      | The next important item, on the east side of Bobbie's, is the little easement which holds our water
well. To keep this well working it needs a lot of TLC - this includes checking and maintaining its many parts such as a tank, submersible pump, check and meter valves, a control box, shut off and flush valves. It has a depth of 115' with a 6" steel casing. This well was only meant to service just so many houses, so, as there are more houses now, the new ones had to apply and go on to city water.  |

      | Those who are still being serviced by the well have to meet all expenses to keep the poor old thing pumping. Hooking up to the city is terribly expensive and our well's water is by far better
tasting. Another very large expense is the maintenance of the street as this is completely in the hands of all the residents of this little private lane. |
